USFBs were used to construct the 1st and 2nd Floor slabs in a 5-storey house development in Notting Hill, London. The USFBs were designed with a 150mm thick in-situ concrete and metal deck slab at 3m centres. They replaced an earlier design using 254mm deep UBs and shelf angles with a 190mm slab. By using USFB's the floor to ceiling heights within increased. Using the USFB allowed easier installation and faster construction than other methods.
