Rather than ask Westok you should address this question to steelwork contractors. Independent steelwork contractors will advise you that Westok Cellular Beams are both cheaper and more readily available.

If in doubt why not provide a performance spec at tender (eg, beam depth max 500mm, minimum cell diameter 350mm, minimum 4Hz, etc) and let the steelwork contractors decide whether to tender on Westok beams or plate beams.

Do not hesitate to request a Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) from Westok when we carry out designs for you. We would then offer this price or lower to he steelwork contractors at tender stage.
