Fire Engineering

A full programme of testing cellular beams  is underway.

Testing has used both protected and unprotected members. Fire testing  conducted at:-

 UMIST,  Ulster Fire SERT,  with additional work at three intumescent paint manufactures own furnaces.

Independent ECSC full scale loaded fire test were conducted in October 2002, at Metz in France.

Test were a great success and ECSC report will be available soon.

In the mean-time Westok engineers can assist with the fire engineering of a particular case.
